Scientific Lecture on Two-Phase Flow and Heat Transfer Applications in Nuclear Power Generation Held at the Mechanical Engineering Department
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohsin Noori Hamzah, President of the University of Technology, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Abdulhady Jaber, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, the Graduate Studies Division organized a specialized scientific lecture titled:
“Two-Phase Flow and Heat Transfer Applications in Nuclear Power Generation”
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Emad Abdul Razzaq Al-Bazzaz on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM in Dr. Munir Al-Mudhaffar Hall.
Distinguished Academic Gathering
The lecture featured high-quality scientific participation and in-depth technical content. Dr. Al-Bazzaz, who possesses over 40 years of academic and research experience outside Iraq, presented the latest concepts and applications in two-phase flow and heat transfer within nuclear power generation systems.
Accompanying him was Professor Abdul Karim Salman, one of the department’s retired pioneers, whose presence embodied the spirit of intergenerational scientific exchange and added a unique academic dimension to the event.
Closing Ceremony
At the conclusion of the lecture, the Head of the Department presented Dr. Emad Abdul Razzaq Al-Bazzaz with a certificate of appreciation, recognizing his scientific contributions and valuable participation in supporting the department’s academic activities.
This event underscores the department’s commitment to fostering advanced research and knowledge-sharing in cutting-edge engineering fields, particularly in energy systems and thermal-fluid sciences
