Automotive Engineering Students Makes a Field Visit
As part of the College of Mechanical Engineering’s commitment to linking academic curricula to practical realities, and as part of the Department of Automotive Engineering and Sustainable Mobility’s efforts to develop the skills of its students and prepare them for the job market, the department organized a field visit to the Pearl Al Bakhit Changan Automobile Company. The visit included first- and second-year students. The visiting delegation was headed by Asst. Dr. Sajida Sabry Fares, Head of the Department, and was accompanied by:

The visit included a comprehensive field tour of the company’s facilities, during which students were introduced to the latest automotive manufacturing and assembly technologies, as well as to the production lines and the principles of inspection and quality assurance. Such visit contributed to linking academic aspects with modern industrial applications. The Department is committed to continuously implement similar training programs and scientific visits, with the aim of developing students’ practical skills and expanding their knowledge of the latest technological trends in the automotive industry. The college also affirms its ongoing commitment to graduating engineers with the academic and professional competence capable of keeping pace with the demands of industrial development, both locally and globally.
