Mechanical Engineering Department Organizes an Inspirational Dialogue Seminar Titled “A Success Story”
On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized a distinguished dialogue seminar titled “A Success Story”. The event was held under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and supervised by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Mohsin Noori Hamzah, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit.
The seminar hosted Dr. Abeer Mohammed Rajab, a former expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a human rights activist, who shared the most inspiring milestones of her professional and personal journey. She discussed the challenges she faced and how she achieved success in various fields.
The seminar witnessed a large turnout of university professors and students, who actively engaged with Dr. Abeer’s inspiring experience. They asked numerous questions about the mechanisms for achieving success and overcoming obstacles.
This seminar is part of the Mechanical Engineering Department’s efforts to enhance the role of women in academic and professional fields and to encourage students to benefit from the experiences of successful figures across various disciplines.
