A seminar titled “Technical Overview on the HVAC Future” in the Department

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsin Noori Hamzah, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdulhady Jaber, and with direct supervision from the Head of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Mahmoud Salman, the Department of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering held a specialized seminar titled “Technical Overview on the HVAC Future.” The seminar was held in cooperation with LG Electronics Levant – Iraq, a company specializing in air conditioning and refrigeration.
The seminar was held in the Professor Munir Al-Mudhaffar Hall in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on the morning of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The seminar was attended by distinguished faculty members and students from the department, as well as a delegation from LG Electronics, including Iraqi, Arab, and Korean engineers. The seminar featured a presentation of the latest innovations and technologies adopted globally in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The session was marked by significant interaction from the attendees, who participated in fruitful scientific discussions focusing on future trends in the design of smart and sustainable HVAC systems and the importance of integrating modern technology into the engineering sector. At the conclusion of the symposium, shields and certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participants in recognition of their valuable contributions to the success of this scientific event.
