A delegation from the University of Warith Al-Anbiya visits the University of Technology – Department of Mechanical Engineering
In the framework of enhancing scientific cooperation between the two universities and striving for academic integration and knowledge exchange, and under the guidance and supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohsin N Hamzah, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology, the Aircraft Engineering Department at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya in Karbala conducted a scientific visit to the University of Technology – Department of Mechanical Engineering. The delegation was headed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saadi Mohammed, Head of the Aircraft Engineering Department, and included a group of first-year students from the department.
The delegation received a warm welcome from Asst. Prof. Dr. Imad A. AbdulSahib, Head of the Aircraft Engineering Branch at the University of Technology, along with several faculty members from the department.
The visit included a tour of the training center, laboratories, and advanced scientific workshops at the University. The students were introduced to the latest technologies and equipment used in engineering fields, including advanced devices and practical applications related to aviation and mechanical engineering. Additionally, Dr. Laith A. Salman delivered a scientific lecture covering the components of aircraft, where he explained the detailed aspects of aircraft design, components, and how they function, adding an important scientific dimension to the visit.
The aim of the visit was to enhance the academic and knowledge level of the students through direct interaction with advanced scientific environments. The visit also reinforces the principle of partnership between universities for the exchange of expertise and the development of educational programs that meet labor market requirements.
It is worth noting that these initiatives are part of the vision of both universities to achieve academic excellence and raise student competencies, contributing to the preparation of distinguished engineers capable of facing future challenges with confidence and efficiency.
